The student experience is complex – Student needs are diverse and multifaceted. Managing this complexity is challenging for both students and universities. There simply aren’t enough resources to offer everything for everyone, and it can be difficult for students (and staff) to navigate the support ecosystem in their time of need. So how do you to ensure your students can access the support they need, when they need it, while ensuring your investment of limited resources will deliver the greatest impact for your students?
I help universities gain valuable insights into the student experience, and develop strategies to strengthen your student support ecosystem. Informed by more than 15 years working in universities and a PhD in the online student experience, I work closely with student support staff to understand the scale and scope of your student experience ecosystem. Drawing on key sources of information and insight, including students, I help you uncover key gaps and recommend opportunities to further strengthen outcomes for your students.
My work in this space draws together research, experience and a nuanced understanding of higher education systems. This includes the interplay between student services, academic environments, policy structures and the lived experience of learners.
